2 Timothy 2:15

I am memorizing this verse that emplores us to "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God". I really want to be diligent (in dictionary defined with words like: constant, inovative) in my seeking to please my Lord and Father. I want to remmeber that as I am freed from my own selfishness and sin to do God's work, I am made unashamed in my work. And this is huge. I have so long been under the impression (lie) that the Lord is ashamed of me. Even if I do good things, surely all my mistakes blemish me in His holy sight. But, as the verse continues, it seems to draw a parrallel between pleasing God (shame free) and "rightly dividing the word of truth", fully hearing and knowing and doing what the Word says. I wanted to memorize this verse so that the Truth would be in my heart that I am made/equipped (through His Truth at work in me) to be a person approved to God, I am made to be shame-free, I am made be freed by knowing His Words (His voice).
