Bible Bee Scripture Songs

I can think of no better way to memorize Scripture than to find or make music for it. Not only does this make memorizing easier and more enjoyable, it adds a lot to the retention and review time as well. I am thankful for those who are using their talent to honor God and help spread His Word. Praise God!!

I hope to eventually have a large list of Bible Bee verses that have been made into Scripture songs in the 5 translations, ideally with an ability for you to immediately download and use them. I may have to make another website just to host these songs. Any help you can give in locating good Bible bee scripture songs would be greatly appreciated. For now I am just listing sources that have quality songs where you will probably find Bible Bee Scripture songs in the translation of your choice.

NIV

One way to write Scripture songs is to put Scripture to common tunes. Pam True and her daughters (pambtrue@gmail.com; blog = homeschoolblogger.com/kyhillshome) are making a bunch of these for the Bible Bee you can use: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lHbpFvndNWc; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FdZWQ4LXeo; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xkZ3UtLFqg; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0l9jjii9NuY; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZXiF-jCJ8Q; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W4Q6BqoLte0; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-N08xwAoWGw Romans 10:17 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hS-4vbj6e0 I Peter 1:15-16 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeIs9a56qlk Psalms119:10-11 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEGe7o5DBtE Ephesians 5:1-2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zgw99OmBYmM John 15:16 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNfQcwQIhDo I Timothy 4:12 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2FPSMUcrf8 Psalm 19:14 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tRKxw4AWyMg Romans 5:12 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5E4XS6nZGVc Hebrews 13:5 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kd42_9xbzHI Ephesians 4:29 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VY-mOvaH-g4 John 14:5-6

The Bible Study in Stereo is an innovative new idea I like a lot. They have entire chapters written as Scripture songs in the NIV connected to 8-week Bible studies on that same chapter of the Bible. This helps us both memorize and meditate on / internalize the Scripture at the same time. Check them out at www.tbsis.com

Rob Jacobson has made many great Scripture Songs including his most famous “Do you not know” which covers Bible Bee passage ISAIAH 40:28-31 www.pilgrimsongs.us

Do you have or know good Bible Bee Scripture songs? Or do you have time, and/or ability ( I am short on both) to help make a Bible Bee Scripture song website where we would put songs others could download and use? If either is yes, than we would love to hear from you.
