I am about to memorize the epistle to the hebrews over the course of 2-4 months (I don't know what may happen). I have a lot of free time to do so, and the site that I use to memorize text is this one:

What I do is read through the first couple of verses four or five times and copy and paste the text into the box near the bottom of this website's page. After this I convert the words so that only their first letter is shown, and I try to guess the words using only those first letters. It's very effective for me, and I highly recommend it. So far in memorization I have done John chapters one and two before I decided to take a break from that book to start on a smaller one and come back later. I am memorizing hebrews because it's the link between the old and new testaments and I love the faith chapter especially. I need to better understand our High Priest and what he has done for us. Thank God I won't have to smell burning animal sacrifices all my life! I'm starting on September 27, 2008 and I am using the King James Version, a classic. Memorizing scripture is a joy to me and this book will make me more thankful for what I have in Christ. By the end of the year I will have it finished and this book will be the very first to have locked up in my heart forever.
