Luke 2:11

The Lord put in my mind when I was meditating on this verse, that it is really the story of the Christian life-
Luke 2:11 And when they had come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary, his mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense & myrrh."

The wisemen first sought Jesus, "...you will seek me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart"
they Saw Jesus, "...my Lord & my God."
they fell down and worshiped Him as we must when we accept Him as Lord & Savior
then they opened their treasures the things they placed value on
and presented gifts to Him as a true believer also will - presenting gifts of our time, our thought life, our efforts - all the things that we value.
