No Fear

For whatever reason, I just received the August scripture verse 2 Timothy 1:7. The first time I became truly aware of this verse, I had just went to our Lord to ask for help and discipline in staying on track with my spiritual walk. The next morning, I was driving to work, and a pickup truck was in front of me with the familiar "No Fear" logo that you see everywhere. Under that logo, the words 2 TIM 1:7 appeared. I had never seen this truck before in my morning drive, and when I got to work, I pulled out the bible I keep in my Jeep, and there it was, plain and simple, "For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline." It is astounding that God would take the time to answer me directly when I go to Him for help, since I generally consider myself blessed by His Grace but not worthy of it. |
