Through the hard times

I am 51 yrs. old and have been through many hard times in my life, from health issues (I have had breast cancer twice along with other health issues)to losing my job after 16 yrs., to losing Pastors at different churches and now the Pastor of the church that I am currently attending is also leaving. Through all stages of my life, God has been there and has used all of the circumstances to my benefit. During any hard time, we can cling to Romans 8:28, knowing that God will use any and all situations to our good eventually. I came through my health issues and have been able to help others going through the same thing. God moved me to a job that is much better for me spiritually and I had the awesome opportunity to work side by side with our Pastor for two yrs. before God chose to move him and his family. Although it hurts to lose the ones we love, I have faith that God will again use this for the good of our church. He always has a plan, we just need to stay faithful and keep our eyes on Him!! |
